It was probably the strangest one too, for he had seen strange creatures who had fur but also had wings and mutant human-like things attacking them. But by far the weirdest part was when a terrible mechanical-looking dragon-thing burst out of the ground, sending rubble everywhere and had let out an head-splitting roar. People and creature alike had fallen dead on the spot from it, the sound being to much for their ears and brain causing them to explode. Maverick is currently in love with Ash. Artimiss, (Maverick's friend who saved him a few years back) is now jealous of Ash because she is hanging out with Maverick.

Story: Mavericks parents were killed by bandits who wanted to steal something from them. He had to runaway to survive and later met Artimiss. Artimiss teached Maverick everything she knew from which herbs to heal someone or kill someone with, to how to set up complex traps for prey.
